Comment: I first heard the Dave Steffen Band when I was around 15 with my parents at the Harbor bar in king, Wi and I fell in love. My parents had followed Dave around the state back when they first got married and now my new husband and I make it to every show we can. We absolutely love it. The band members are fun, the atmosphere is always awesome and makes you want to dance (or at least bob your head and tap your foot). I can't help but smile the entire time I'm at a show. I can't wait for their show at silvercryst this march.
Comment: Just got back home from the Silver Springs show in Plymouth, recalling how much fun we had tonight & how good you guys sounded. Such a treat to have a hometown band with so much talent & polish. All of that sound from three musicians that get the girls dancing. See you real soon!

Thanks again for another great time & performance at Stone Harbor on Sat. 3/26/11. I'm always amazed at the looks on the faces of people watching you guys for the 1st time. To be able to enjoy, dance, & watching(so close)supurb musicians like you guys is almost unheard of now-a-days.

My wife, Lucie, and her friend Lorry thought the new members of your band were awesome. When I told her that it was actually the original DSB, she said she remembered you guys playing in Ripon. She said, "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times." She's such a little Dickens! Keep rockin' Chuck D.

Comment: Dave, I just wanted you to know, since late June and the loss of Keith, I have been listening religiously to DSB. The DSB was tops with Keith, he admired lot's of musicians/music - the alien Joe Satriani/Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and many, many others. He loved to listen and technically disect music from all arena's but DSB made him smile and feel real good 24/7. I'm so glad he told me how he felt and induced me to your wonderful talent and vibe, it allows me to feel closer to my old friend through you. Best to you, Todd
Comment: Hi guys! My mom saw you Friday (the 19th)but I was at 4-H camp so i couldn't come. Modesta says hello and that she misses you. :} Hannah Roffman

That Dellger has packed on some pounds since the early days, but he can still smack it down yet for an old timer. Both of them bass players were smokin'. That girl on stage with youse was funny. Donna said it was her birthday. You should do some more of them gigs. Peace. Donna and Harley J.

Give yourself, Augie and Craig big sloppy kisses from us.

I must tell you how truly nice it was to visit with you today (7/23/06)at Paperfest / Kimberly, even though it was for only a few minutes. Comment: Russ: I can not believe I found you by google search. Boy it has been too long from the GREAT DAYS of Truc of America, in Atlanta, Georgia. I was an avid fan. I drove to Macon, Georgia on a night to see the Band, and you let me hang out with you guys after the gig! I befriended Andy Bigan , the drummer, and to this day listen to my Truc of America tape I bought in Macon, Georgia. EASY Mark was my favorite tune, and you guys played it every show! You also let me on stage to sing Easy Mark with the band at my birthday one night at a bar next to the old limelight in Atlanta. I hope you get this Russ, and email me back. I would love to know where all the other guys are now. Please write me back, and good luck with the Dave Steffen Band "String Benders". You were such a great talent with Truc. How can we not forget: OUTA CONTROL, Charley Atlas, Easy Mark, Clone Love; the skits, costumes, and great music! I wish you guys could reunite!

I met you at the steak n pub in Wausau in May. Your sound is healing and uplifting. I grooved all the way back to St Louis with your CD. Although Ive been a drummer and have had my hay day in L.A. 72-86 you made me want to bring out the strat and get down on the ole slide.
Thanks for staying in the game. You Brian and Craig...all of you...love and peace....bless you for your great work!
Comment: Hey Guys! I just wanted to let you know that I finally bought both Eve of Autumn and Northern Lights. They both are amazing CD's! I can tell you that they won't be leaving my CD changer for a LONG time! Keep up the good work and we'll see you in Sheboygan!!
Comment: Like Jay posted earlier, the shows Friday and Saturday at The Paint River Pub in Crystal Falls were outstanding. To have a band of this caliber in our area is truly a rare experience.(Hopefully not as rare from now on though!) I don't think anyone left the bar either night without realizing the what an incredible band this is. For anyone who is reading these posts and has not seen the band, do yourself a favor and make a point of doing so. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!
Comment: Hey that was an great show up in crystal falls. We hope to see you again. Its nice to hear someone give true meaning to the blues. we enjoy playing it and listening. Daves talent is exceptionally great. You can hear the spirit of Jimi and Stevie Ray playing through Dave. And that is good to hear.
Comment: Just wanted to say congratulations to Craig Neuser on a successful career, he is one of many talented musicians from the Whitelaw area. Also wanted to remind Dave of the old days in Whitelaw out at Big-O's Acres where he and his band would often play, it was one heck of a party!!! Keep up the great music!
Comment: HEY Dave, Craig, and Augy, you guys sounded great at riley tonight and just wanted to say thanks for letting me jam with you guys. I had a lot of fun. Thanks a lot.
Comment: First saw Dave @ Cliff & Ceil's way back in the 70's and then @ the Slammer in Greenleaf in the 80's,more recently @ Heroes in Green Bay.A show from DSB is like a multi-vitamin.It's good for you and you should take one in on a regular basis. They're the best medicine around. Thanks guys, see you @ Heroes on the 3rd. Brad Beck from Green Bay.

Comment: Greetings from Montana, and a former classmate. Great site. Seems like just yesterday we were graduating, back in the day of "The Love Society". My daughther brought me a poster from the bar but she didnt get it autographed. Hope to hear from you. Hope your success continues.
Comment: I would like to say "hello" to my old buddie Craig Neuser. I am now liveing in Germany and would like to catch one of your shows when I am back in good ole Wisco. KEEP ON ROCKIN' Jamie Steber...
Comment: Just for the record; I want you to know that your gig in Eagle River was most totally entertaining. I do not remember seeing a show that was this much fun in a long time. For myself, just having seen CREED w/DEFAULT last weekend, I'm not sure what it was that I expected. I do know that it (the show) was anything but a letdown. In fact I think I was as totally enthralled as the weekend before (and for me that is really saying something). Keep up the good work, I can't wait till next time. Your newest fan for life, John.
Comment: just saw you guys in sauk city and the whole band just ROCKS. i saw you here a few years ago, so i am glad i got a second listen. i bought a cd and i am marking riley on my calendar.
Comment: I've heard Dave and his band play at several venues and found them very entertaining. With this in mind I need to ask does the DSB play at private parties?
Comment: Hey Dave Are you ever going to have a gig scheduled over on the west side of Wisconsin. I live south of Lacrosse and am looking forward to seeing you guys again. I see most of your gigs are along the lakefront. Let me know if your going to be schedule some weekend, maybe closer to Madison. Thanks Marilyn
Comment: Dave, I hope that Kate can get out to see you play before she leaves Wisconsin. I just E-Mailed Stevie Bass and let him know what I was up to here in California. I will be watching the Packers on Monday night football next Monday to see how they look this year. Hope all is good in Plymouth and your family is doing good. Give Shadow a hug for me. Peace, Bill

Take it easy guys- hope to see you again soon Augie. Nifty pictures and audio stuff on here!
