Comment: I first heard the Dave Steffen Band when I was around 15 with my parents at the Harbor bar in king, Wi and I fell in love. My parents had followed Dave around the state back when they first got married and now my new husband and I make it to every show we can. We absolutely love it. The band members are fun, the atmosphere is always awesome and makes you want to dance (or at least bob your head and tap your foot). I can't help but smile the entire time I'm at a show. I can't wait for their show at silvercryst this march.
Comment: Just got back home from the Silver Springs show in Plymouth, recalling how much fun we had tonight & how good you guys sounded. Such a treat to have a hometown band with so much talent & polish. All of that sound from three musicians that get the girls dancing. See you real soon!
Comment: Followed you from the early 70's lived up the road a while from you. please say hi to Stevie Bass as I understand it you guys are doing a SBL album. take care and see you down the road. be safe.

Comment: Hey Dave Steffens Band!!! We love you guys! Thanks so much for the great music and for making our night awesome at the Lodge, Mt. Morris on April 13th! Dave (my borther) and Janice said this was the best birthday bash they've had so far! Looking forward to seeing you in the future!
Thanks again for playing yesterday. You , Steve , and Mike sounded great. Everyone had an awesome time , we received many compliments about the band. It was fun hearing all the great tunes , especially Round and Round for the encore.
Comment: I was able to see you guys at the North Star Casino last night. Although I've only seen your band twice now, I love Southern Rock & Blue and you guys play those great. I have to say Craig is an excellent addition and is a great Blues/Southern Rock singer. Play on -- Terry
Comment: Second Wind is a great collection of your music. Lovin A Bluesman is the coolest tune you have ever wrote. You have never written a bad tune & thanks for the memories at our 25th anniversary. Take care-Stan!
Great seeing you guys out on Washington Island. It was a real nice coincidence and also, thanks for the new CD. We've listened through it a couple times now and love Second Wind...a great new tune! Finally, thanks for the shuttle service Dave, it was gonna be a long tough 3 mile hike back to the marina for Lesli and I. Thanks again and take care guys...we'll see you guys down the road again sometime, hopefully sooner than later!!!

Thanks again for another great time & performance at Stone Harbor on Sat. 3/26/11. I'm always amazed at the looks on the faces of people watching you guys for the 1st time. To be able to enjoy, dance, & watching(so close)supurb musicians like you guys is almost unheard of now-a-days.
You're always a looked forward to treat for us!!! Keep Rockin & Blues'n!!!!!!
Comment: Although I have never seen you live---YET, I do have all of your cd's plus the Stringbender ones. Evertime I play them at work on my mp3 player I always get people asking me "who is that?" YOU ROCK!!!!!
Comment: Dave, I caught you last month at Ziggy's in Fondy. Don't know if you remember me, but I was the guy who talked to you after the second set about playing Bastille Days in July. My wife, Lucie, and her friend Lorry thought the new members of your band were awesome. When I told her that it was actually the original DSB, she said she remembered you guys playing in Ripon. She said, "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times." She's such a little Dickens! Keep rockin' Chuck D.

Comment: While attempting to order some of your albums for a computer illerate friend, I was thinking that it was a shame that you're CD's are such a pain to order. Maybe he'll just have to wait until you're in his area (Beaver Dam, Wi.), see you live, then buy some of your CD's. It's a shame, because he could be turning others into fans of your music at the moment. Well, keep jammin' DEAR FANS, PLEASE FORGIVE OUR PROBLEM WITH THE ORDER PAGE. YOU CAN CALL OUR NEW AGENT MUSIC BOXX AND ORDER DIRECT THRU THEM OR YOU CAN ALWAYS EMAIL US DIRECTLY. WE ARE WORKING ON IT

Comment: Dave, I just wanted you to know, since late June and the loss of Keith, I have been listening religiously to DSB. The DSB was tops with Keith, he admired lot's of musicians/music - the alien Joe Satriani/Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and many, many others. He loved to listen and technically disect music from all arena's but DSB made him smile and feel real good 24/7. I'm so glad he told me how he felt and induced me to your wonderful talent and vibe, it allows me to feel closer to my old friend through you. Best to you, Todd
Comment: Sup guys?! I saw you in Menominee at Murrays... You guys kick serious ass!! I was the younger guy from Cali that requested all the Jimi Hendrix and SRV... Can't wait to see you again in August!
Comment: Hey Dave, Me and my girlfriend Donna seen you guys at the Hitching Post a couplea weeks back with the original DSB and Neuser. I been a fan for darn near thirty years, and I gotta say that I ain't never seen you rock down the place like you done that night. That Dellger has packed on some pounds since the early days, but he can still smack it down yet for an old timer. Both of them bass players were smokin'. That girl on stage with youse was funny. Donna said it was her birthday. You should do some more of them gigs. Peace. Donna and Harley J.
Comment: hey Dave! This is Tom's daughter Kayla (one of the twins). Do you remember me? I really love coming to see you play at the children's benefit down in Manotowac. That's always a ton of fun! Hope to see you soon! Kayla

Great gigging with you and Bemis at Turner (and always) I read some of your kudos on your web site and may I add mine. Always a pleasure to perform with such a talented guitarist/vocalist. Keep rockin' and happy holidays
Comment: Ja, Dave, Say, I just picked up my third copy of Dave Steffen Vols. I & II, and I was wonderin' whatever happened to those other two guys, Steve Olschesky and Big Ben Dellger? I recall when you played Pulaski that one time and Steve started the field on fire with them bottle rockets. Too much Jeagermeister, I think! Hey, youse guys ought to have a reunion gig once and do them Police tunes. Judy Lane says,"Yo" to yas!
Comment: Great playin'. I hope to catch a show in the future. Its good to see the blues is alive and well in the area. I moved here a year or so ago. Theres alot of excellent talent here. If you get a chance check our band www.myspace.com/glasshousewi

We, Trisha and I, miss you all very much and the music out here in LA is just not the same. So, come and play us some of that WI blues so we can feel like we are home. Give yourself, Augie and Craig big sloppy kisses from us.

Comment: WOW -- that's what I've got to say! I'm so glad I saw you guys at the Village Green in Ripon, WI --- I'm playing your CD's now. You guys are so awesome. The talent you have is remarkable! WHEN CRAIG NEUSER CUT LOOSE ON HIS OWN -- I COULDN'T BREATHE! He's not only a musical genious but GOD can he sing too. Craig - you raise my blood pressure! One reason I had to make sure I bought your new CD is Craig's song - Going Home. I hope to see you guys again sometime -- in the meantime, your tunes are blasting out of my car stereo! Pam S in Pennsylvania
Comment: Hey guys, great show on Sunday at Emmer's. Seems every time I see you guys, the band sounds better! And Dave, thanks for playing "Move On" for me again, since I missed it the first time. Gets me on the dance floor every time. Have fun until we meet again!
I must tell you how truly nice it was to visit with you today (7/23/06)at Paperfest / Kimberly, even though it was for only a few minutes. As I mentioned, it's also great to know that you have achieved the success that you have given the odds against most who aspire to make it in the music industry.
Hope to see you again sometime at one of your local gigs. Best wishes to you and your family!
Comment: Just wanted to let you guys know how much we enjoyed the band in Crystal Falls on 7/2. The fans there are alot of fun and really enjoyed you, danced, and had a great time. See you in Menominee on the 20th.
Comment: Thanks Dave. It was a real honor to sit in with you and the band to play a few tunes. Everyone enjoyed the night, and the music. To play the blues is to be American. You made my night that was great. You have one upstanding sound and your style is right on, and the band is awesome. Everyone there enjoyed the night up in Crystal. It is always great to hear your music. Thanks again for inspiring me to play and keep the blues alive. Jamin Little Wing was something I'll never forget. Take care and we'll see you again.

I moved away and now 30 years later find myself back in WI and find DSB playing in Fond du Lac. What a joy, then for X-mas, my wife surprises me with 2 CD's of DSb. I drove to Macon, Georgia on a night to see the Band, and you let me hang out with you guys after the gig! I befriended Andy Bigan , the drummer, and to this day listen to my Truc of America tape I bought in Macon, Georgia. EASY Mark was my favorite tune, and you guys played it every show! You also let me on stage to sing Easy Mark with the band at my birthday one night at a bar next to the old limelight in Atlanta. I hope you get this Russ, and email me back. I would love to know where all the other guys are now. Please write me back, and good luck with the Dave Steffen Band "String Benders". You were such a great talent with Truc. How can we not forget: OUTA CONTROL, Charley Atlas, Easy Mark, Clone Love; the skits, costumes, and great music! I wish you guys could reunite!

Comment: Like Jay posted earlier, the shows Friday and Saturday at The Paint River Pub in Crystal Falls were outstanding. To have a band of this caliber in our area is truly a rare experience.(Hopefully not as rare from now on though!) I don't think anyone left the bar either night without realizing the what an incredible band this is. For anyone who is reading these posts and has not seen the band, do yourself a favor and make a point of doing so. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!
Comment: Hey that was an great show up in crystal falls. We hope to see you again. Its nice to hear someone give true meaning to the blues. we enjoy playing it and listening. Also wanted to remind Dave of the old days in Whitelaw out at Big-O's Acres where he and his band would often play, it was one heck of a party!!! Keep up the great music!
Comment: First saw Dave @ Cliff & Ceil's way back in the 70's and then @ the Slammer in Greenleaf in the 80's,more recently @ Heroes in Green Bay.A show from DSB is like a multi-vitamin.It's good for you and you should take one in on a regular basis. They're the best medicine around. Thanks guys, see you @ Heroes on the 3rd. Comment: Just for the record; I want you to know that your gig in Eagle River was most totally entertaining. I do not remember seeing a show that was this much fun in a long time. For myself, just having seen CREED w/DEFAULT last weekend, I'm not sure what it was that I expected. I do know that it (the show) was anything but a letdown. In fact I think I was as totally enthralled as the weekend before (and for me that is really saying something). Keep up the good work, I can't wait till next time. Your newest fan for life, John.
Comment: Hey Dave Are you ever going to have a gig scheduled over on the west side of Wisconsin. I live south of Lacrosse and am looking forward to seeing you guys again. I see most of your gigs are along the lakefront. Let me know if your going to be schedule some weekend, maybe closer to Madison. Thanks Marilyn
Comment: Dave, I hope that Kate can get out to see you play before she leaves Wisconsin. I just E-Mailed Stevie Bass and let him know what I was up to here in California. I will be watching the Packers on Monday night football next Monday to see how they look this year. Hope all is good in Plymouth and your family is doing good. Give Shadow a hug for me. Peace, Bill
